Where to Request Motley Records

The Motley County Sheriff is the first contact for a local arrest, transport entry, release disposition, or the identity of the physical jail that housed the person. The official sheriff page does not publish records-unit hours or a booking-record fee. Do not treat the courthouse’s general hours as jail-release desk hours.

Motley County Sheriff, Robert Fisk
PO Box 715
Matador, TX 79244
Phone: 806-347-2234
Fax: 806-347-2692
Records hours: not published; call before visiting.

For a judgment, bond order, dismissal, sentence, probation order, or certified court copy, contact the combined clerk. Public records recorded since 2003 are routed through iDocket; older files and unavailable images require direct contact.

Motley County and District Clerk, Taylor Elliott
701 Main & Dundee
PO Box 660
Matador, TX 79244
Phone: 806-347-2621
Fax: 806-347-2220
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

State-prison records and projected dates belong to TDCJ. The inmate-information email route is pia@tdcj.texas.gov; general contact is 936-295-6371 at PO Box 99, Huntsville, TX 77342-0099. Review and Release Processing can be reached at 512-406-5202. For parole supervision assigned to Motley, the Plainview District Parole Office is at 1001 North Interstate Highway 27, Suite 232, Plainview, TX 79072, phone 806-293-5989.

Choose the route that matches the question:

  • Use the home page for a released-person search and focused record-request steps.
  • Use Post-Release Supervision for parole, mandatory supervision, or probation routing.
  • Use 24-Hour Releases for the local recent-release feed absence and its records fallback.
  • Use Release Date Lookup and the VINE Inmate Check for dates and alerts.
  • Use the facility pages in the footer after the sheriff identifies the actual receiving jail.
  • Use TDCJ for a sentenced state prisoner; use the BOP or ICE locator for the matching federal custody system.

For IVSS state-custody notifications, call 800-848-4284 or email victim.svc@tdcj.texas.gov. County VINE assistance is available at 1-877-TX4-VINE, though official Motley participation must be verified live.
